How long have you been an automotive supplier? 

LNI was founded back in 1970 and the first automotive supply contract was signed in 1972. Only two years young we already had our first orders for automotive, and that was from both Holden and AMI Toyota back in the day.  

What types of nameplates, labels and badges do we do for the automotive industry? 

That can be broadly put into two categories:

Grade badging for Mitsubishi 

LNI was chosen to do the premium grade badging for Mitsubishi, and we very proudly provided the grade badging for a range of their vehicles - Triton, ASX, GSR, and Outlander. 

Why LNI was selected to supply Mitsubishi

We were chosen for several reasons, obviously being a local supplier and having the right product which was our LunaKrome™ 3D badging. The badges were to be used across several models. LunaKrome™ 3D badging is made here in Australia; it only requires one set of tooling because it's flexible and will bend to the contour of the panel which is great to use right across all the vehicles and it is very economical and quick to get to market. 

What does LNI offer its automotive customers? 

LNI takes customers on a full Concept to Creation journey. The services we offer to our Automotive customers are all fully in-house:

Whenever they need a grade badge, special or limited edition badge or a build plate or decal, and they need it done locally, then we are the company that can certainly help them out.
