We are delighted to announce that Christine Som has joined the team here at Luna Nameplate Industries, bringing over 17 years of experience in Customer Service.

Christine previously worked for 3M Australia, commencing in a Production/Dispatch role at the 3M automotive converting facility in Thomastown, Victoria.

Christine was based at Thomastown for 12 years. She worked in the Production/Dispatch role for just a month before moving into Customer Service. She had the pleasure of collaborating closely with customers such as Toyota, Ford, Holden, Nissan and other automotive tier 1 and 2 suppliers, distributors, converters and other end users.

The nature of her role with 3M allowed her to collaborate with internal functions of the business such as Sales & Marketing, Technical, Supply Planning, Accounts, Production, and Dispatch/Warehouse. Working with a wide range of automotive businesses, customers and suppliers has given her a broad understanding of manufacturing operations and the supply chain.

What Christine enjoys the most about Customer Service is building and maintaining customer relationships, learning about customers, understanding their expectations, and working together to achieve a successful outcome, which in turn gives her a great sense of accomplishment.
